Good morning everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you are all as excited as I am to face a new week full of fun challenges and new adventures. I truly have learned to embrace every single day no matter what may face me. But I have realized the importance of taking care of myself so I can be here to live this wonderful roller coaster that is life. Too often, I used to eat for stress and emotion, but now through all of the research I have done. I have found ways to combat by awful ways.
Today I am going to share with you what to eat when you are craving certain things so you can better
take care of your body
If you are craving CHOCOLATE: Then you are most likely in need of magnesium. So how to cope? Eat nuts, seeds, veggies and fruits!
If you are craving OILY FOODS: Then you are most likely in need of calcium. Divert those not so good foods by eating organic milk, cheese and green leafy veggies!
If you are craving SUGAR: You may be in need of several things such as chromium, phosphorus and tryptophan, So fight those feelings and try broccoli, fresh fruits, chicken, beef, cheese, raisins and cauliflower.
If you are craving BREAD/CARBS: Then you need nitrogen. Try eating higher protein meats like meat, nuts, fish, beans and chia seeds.
If you are craving SALTY FOODS: You need chloride and silicon. So try eating fish, goat milk, cashews, nuts and seeds.
Something I have learned is that when I eat for what I am craving not only do I avoid cheating and eating an unnecessary amount of calories but I feel better. Also, I am always drinking water to keep myself hydrated and fuller long.
