Fit and Focused Fall

Good morning and happy Monday everyone!!

We all know that Monday can be a drag, we may not have at the cleanest, slept the best or did our normal activities. Sometimes even those who are the most consistent fall off the wagon and need to hop back on. This is ME :) I have consistently worked out over the last 8 weeks to Piyo and doing the 10 minute ab program from the 21 Day Fix. I have made progress in my core, in my arm strength and even my legs are looking leaner (which is my biggest problem area). What I know I could have done better was my nutrition. Some days were spot on and others I was so busy I missed meals and ate quick, unhealthy options.

Now I lack energy, lacking daily motivation to get up early and tackle the day. I know it has to do with my nutrition because I am getting the post high sugar crashes that kick my butt every time. What I can really see the difference in is my skin. Normally, it is clear and smooth. Instead, I have constant break outs and I know it's because I am not drinking enough water. When you have been doing this over a year and then you decide to slip up it really takes a toll on you and your body.

So I woke up today and decided that it was enough, that I need to go all in and get back to the 21 Day Fix Extreme including following the nutritional plan!

My goals:
1. Kick the Starbucks necessity
2. Rid my body of the sugar cravings
3. Maintaining my water intake by drinking 1/2 my weight in water
4. Taking time each day to read my personal development to stay mentally strong
5. Sleep-my biggest problem lately. I need to make sure that I stick to my daily schedule and go to bed on time. (Easier said than done but I need to control my anxiety).


Sometimes as coaches people assume that we are always on track, that we don't fall off, that this is easy for us but I am here publicly opening and stating that I need to get back on track. Knowing I can be honest with you about my personal struggles and hope to inspire you really makes my desire to lead by example stronger.

There is nothing I hate more about this time of the year than struggling to find clothes to wear because of the extra holiday weight. I used to resort to staying in comfortable clothes and then when I had to put on a pair of jeans or dressier attire I had the dreaded muffin top....ladies we all know the worst feeling ever. I used to just avoid wearing jeans at all costs because I was embarrassed. But after doing the 21 Day Fix and Piyo while working on my nutrition I no longer had to wear sweat pants or buy the next size up.

So I want to help you gain your confidence back and avoid the muffin top and holiday weight gain this year!

I am kicking off a Fit and Focused health and fitness support community today on Monday October 19th. This is a closed, online support and accountability group. My goal is to help teach you how to make healthier meal options, to manage your cravings for sweets, how to handle the holidays and how to eat while traveling. We don't have to fall apart over the holiday season.

Today we start our preseason where we really focus on achieving your goals. This week we will work on nutrition, making healthier choices, meal planning for success and how to fit your workout in your daily schedule. I will provide you sample meal plans, snack ideas and more.

Then next week we will start adding the workouts into your daily routine. You can choose from any of the Team Beachbody Fitness programs of which I will personally help you choose the one that is right for you based off of your personal goals and fitness level. The 21 Day Fix is a great place to start for a variety of fitness levels with an easy to follow nutritional system.

The next requirement is that I am your personal Team Beeachbody Coach. To have me as your coach, you just have to sign up on my site (it's free)! Then I can walk you through the steps to get started!

Lastly, you will be required to replace 1 meal a day with Shakeology for the duration of the group. Why? This group is a safe place to come and know that you have a team of people just like you struggling with the same issues and trying to overcome the obstacles. Personally, if it wasn't for my first challenge group I would still be the overweight, depressed, unmotivated person I was last year. I know because I personally did it that you can too!!!

So are ready!?!?! I  know I AM!  I spent some time this morning looking around Pinterest for cute fall clothes and I intend to dress each day by confidence not because of a poor self image. This gave me some new ideas for clothes and even more motivation to stay on track. So are you in?
