Workout Wednesday: 21 Day Fix and Insanity Max 30 My Soul mate Workouts

Being a Beachbody coach means that I get to workout with the celebrity trainers and try out their workouts in preparation for them to come out. In January, I was blessed to workout with Autumn the creator of the 21 Day Fix program. Autumn was getting ready to release the 21 Day Fix Extreme. There was an energy in the room that I cannot explain, hundreds of people whose lives had been changed by this amazing woman all in one room for an epic experience.

So what is the 21 Day Fix....what is this extreme version??

The 21 Day Fix: It is a complete, awesome program that makes eating cleaner more realistic for people who are making the transition to lose weight, improve their nutrition and avoid medical complications down the road. The 21 Day Fix is a complete program because it has a full 84 page nutritional guide that lays everything out from grocery shopping, to meal planning and how to calculate your caloric need without counting calories! YES! I said it! You do not have to count calories! The program comes with awesome colored containers that you just portion your food out from instead of worrying all day how much you have consumed.

The 21 Day Fix workouts are awesome. Each day you are training a different group of muscles in a dynamic way. The workouts range from cardio, to weight training, to yoga and pilates for active recovery stretch days. If you are looking for a full body workout program without spending hours at the gym then this is your program. I personally started with this program after not being able to workout for a long time and it was hard in the beginning. BUT it showed me that change is possible.

This year Autumn and Beachbody released the 21 Day Fix Extreme- this version is meant for those who are ready for that last push. Those you are ready to achieve theirs, to dial in on their nutrition and shred their bodies. This program allows no cheats, the nutritional guide has some awesome changes and comes with even more amazing recipes. This program will push you to your limits. Every day involves weights or a resistance band so be prepared to work hard and see awesome results.

The Leap To Insanity Max 30
After I had completed several rounds of the 21 Day Fix, I was ready for a change. I was ready to incorporate another program into my life. I had heard several coaches ordering Insanity Max 30 as soon as it came out. But I didn't....I was intimidated. I remembered doing Insanity a long time ago. I remembered wondering how Shaun T could stay in the air for so long. I did 30 days and quit. I was not going to finish. So when I saw my fellow teammates loving on this program I decided I would take a leap and go for it. 60 days intense daily workouts....I was going to do this. I started on day one. I thought I would die. Each day I wrote down my time and tracked my progress. I pushed play everyday and some days fell onto my face from exhaustion.

This workout taught me so much about myself and my ability to push myself not only physically but mentally. This program is awesome but what made it possible was on the days when I wanted to push but couldn't follow Shaun T I followed the modifier and jumped back in when I was ready. This program is a daily push, it will test you physically and mentally. It will give you insane results. And at the end of the 60 days you will feel amazing. This program really was my jumping point into getting leaner and strong.
